This song is for my Grandmother. She used to play gospel bluegrass vinyls on her box player when I was a child. She still lives in those songs in my heart and memory. Here’s one of them, sung by the Church Sisters.

I’m closer to 80 than 70 now so I can honestly say that I remember growing up with gospel songs like this. I had not heard that particular song in so many years now; it did my heart good to hear it today and I want to thank you for including it. I’ll forward this to my 89 year old sister. She’ll enjoy it as much as I. Thanks.
You’re very welcome and thank you for your comment. My roots are, of course, in gospel. My father was a minister who sprang from a large family. At family gatherings there was always country and bluegrass music and especially gospel hymns, the old ones my grandmother loved. Blessings to you, my friend, and your sister, today.
